An hospital that looks “less of a hospital” was the client brief given to us. The day use and out patient spaces alongwith Emergency care occupy the ground floor and are spread out while the wards and critical spaces are put into stacked buildings that are efficient. A prayer hall at the entry- a void with a vista of a water body is the main element of the courtyard around which all the spaces are organised. The project is currently under fund raising.
