A narrow street of the Eixample... A residence complementary program: access through the garage, dressing room, swimming pool and terrace... An intention: from the emptiness inside’s block, a garden over the city... At both grounds (first ground / garage + flat/terrace), it’s been prioritize the continue disposition of the different programs, as well as the difference and the relation between them during different periods of the year. In this way, the garage tries to optimize the maximum space reaching a right mobility for two motor vehicle. The terrace access it is situated at the end of the building plot, promoting, with the natural light, continuity between the street and the garden space. Crossed natural ventilation and a transparency formalize the façade. It is built with a dry system and a corru¬gated steel structure (Æ 25mm), the different densities defined it, pressing the worked wood in a corrugated weave (150x300mmÆ 10mm). The terrace disposition of the first ground liberates an space of plurifuntional use in continuity with the residence. The conditioned swimming pool and the vegetation are placed at the end of the building plot, under the party wall, reaching the maximum depth. The steel and wood limit bend itself as a cover, collecting the space... and a small balcony lets the relation between the tallest point and the street, as a pedestrian getting closer to an old river’s reed bed more than a city building.
