Movement, freedom, enjoyment - thoughts that arise when the keyword "bicycle" is mentioned. This was also the case when planning the "Cyclist" at the Hotel Andaz am Belvedere Vienna. The architecture and interior design studio Archisphere, based in Vienna and Zurich, combined the experience of movement and communication. A trendy place was created, which radiates mobility through the diverse design with bicycles and bicycle elements. Here one "moves" as an employee:in of the lifestyle hotel, but also as a guest of the hotel, as a resident:in the neighborhood or one comes by after a visit to Belvedere 21. People meet for a relaxing break, drink a first-class espresso, talk about the events of the day, and guests pick up a tip or two for sightseeing. The casually designed "Cyclist" is much more than an employee canteen; it is a place of communication for both the guests and the people in the neighborhood. The spirit of the hotel is tangible for everyone: generosity on all levels. In the design concept, the focus was on creativity and precision. In all our projects, one thing is particularly important: "We want to tell a story and create emotions." For Archisphere's architecture and interior design team, which was responsible for the entire interior design of Hotel Andaz am Belvedere Vienna, Prince Eugene acted as an inspiration. The spirit of the art collector Prince Eugen can be found throughout the hotel. In the "Cyclist," Prince Eugene has swapped horse for bicycle. He gets a coffee to go from the barista and takes a spin in the nearby Schweizergarten.
