This project was a complete remodeling of an apartment, in a building of the 70's, located in the heart of São Paulo, for a young couple with two small children. The desire of clients was, beyond modernizing the look of the apartment, better integrating the social spaces.
Removing the traditional function divisions, we integrated Entry Hall, Living and Dining room, reducing the height to camouflage beams and eliminating doors and walls among the spaces.
It has been created a long sideboard below the windows evidencing the length of the ambient and resolving the aesthetic question of the short windows.
The wood was used in abundance, including a panel that separes living and family room, with door of running embedded and shelving in iron plate.
Wood, black lacquer, black and white in the details and finishes and beige tones in the fabrics gave to the apartment a modern sobriety look.
