According to the American Institute of Architects (AIA) in a new interactive infographic, the answer to this Churchill-esque question is: "Yes." The value of architects, per the AIA, lies in how they "can affect the mental and physical health of everyone that comes into contact" with buildings. The panning illustration highlights how zoning, program, circulation, doors, windows, materials, and other considerations impact communities and shape health. The AIA is doing its part to promote the cause, while educating the public about one benefit of architects.
