The World Around Annual Summit, 2025

Save the date for The World Around x MoMA! Mark your calendars for Sunday, April 27, 2025, and join us for the sixth edition of our renowned annual convening of architecture’s now, near and next.

We’re proud to announce that our Annual Summit 2025 will be held at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, as part of a new and exciting collaboration between our organization and MoMA’s Emilio Ambasz Institute for the Joint Study of the Built and Natural Environment.

The World Around Annual Summit celebrates the best projects and most innovative ideas from the past year in architecture, design, and adjacent creative fields—setting the stage for dialog and discussion around critical topics and themes, with the goal of translating conversations into tangible directives and actions that move the discipline forward. Expect to hear from top names and emerging talents, whose presentations will help to create a global picture of architecture today, and help to point us in the right direction for tomorrow.

During this year’s program, which will be collaboratively curated with the Ambasz Institute, we’ll also be celebrating the three winners of the second cycle of our Young Climate Prize, who will win a trip to NYC for the Summit to present their remarkable projects that are tackling urgent climate issues in their communities and beyond. The cohort of 25 under 25 are currently wrapping up their mentorship sessions and Design Academy program as part of the prize.
