Japan

What is architecture? Should we define it simply as the structures that envelop us, forming barriers to protect us from external foes?

I prefer to think of architecture as a force that acts upon society itself. It protects traditions, brings towns to life, supports disaster areas, and prevents and cures illness. It is even part of a delicious meal. For me, everything is architecture.
