The American Institute of Architects has launched this year's AIA Film Challenge, asking filmmakers, architects, and storytellers in the United States to submit mini documentaries (60- to 90-second videos) that can be during stay-at-home orders.
AIA launched a film challenge in 2015, then called the Look Up Film Challenge and focused on the impact of architecture. Changed to the AIA Film Challenge in 2017, it now looks for stories about "architects partnering with communities and civic leaders to design a healthy, sustainable, just world that improves peoples’ lives."
Have a story idea that fits? Shoot it and submit it by August 24 for a chance to win up to $7,000. Visit the AIA Film Challenge website for details.
