Today is Friday, which means we're heading to the Museum of Modern Art for their UNIQLO Free Friday Nights. One exhibition we're excited to see is Conceptions of Space: Recent Acquisitions in Contemporary Architecture, curated by Pedro Gadanho.
The exhibition (on display until October 19, 2014) uses the department's recent aquisitions to "addresses how contemporary architects continue to embrace spatial creation as a fundamental focus of their work." Twenty projects by an international group of architects and artists "survey this expanded field" through models, drawings, photographs, videos, and a room-sized installation. Below we highlight a few of the recent aquisitions on display.
