First phase
This is the first phase construction as part of the 50th anniversary project of a private high school in Fukuoka City, a rebuilding plan for the second gymnasium, heated pool, and school building.
The second gymnasium has a unique round shape while suppressing the feeling of oppression to the surroundings from the limited site with a difference in height on the slope, and it is the face of the main gate side.
The pool on the 1st floor is a powerful space where you can see the continuous structure of cast-in-place PCs, and the arena on the 2nd floor has an arch-shaped tunnel space that makes the most of the shape of the building, making it a bright gymnasium with plenty of light from the north side. While inheriting the existing, white-based school building, the new school building has a soft and warm interior with wooden interiors, giving the entire school building a bright image.
Second phase
The project is the second phase construction which we did as a part of the 50th anniversary commemoration project of private high school in Fukuoka city. It is the plan of the new communication place and the new clubhouse for the school composed of Community Hall, Academic Plaza, Art Library on the former indoor pool site. The building has a round shape and the art library on the second floor is seen through the aluminum cast screen which has durability and transparency. The community hall has 608 seats for fixed seats and movable seats and can be used for learning activities on a grade level basis. There are the grass openings on the outer wall, the inner wall, and the ceiling and natural light enters the hall and it becomes a bright space. Academic Plaza on the first floor is for liberal Arts clubs and it is the open space without walls. The art library on the second floor isn't only a reading space but also an exhibition space of collection arts of school and works of art department and makes art feel.
