The tonal symbol of the expo.02: The structure of one of the three towers designed by Coop Himmelb(l)au for the Arteplage Biel carries an interactive musical instrument. The resulting capsule became an elevated «orchestral pit» for the musicians, a cocoon, suspended three metres above ground, to be opened and closed when needed. The roof, when lowered, becomes a stage.
