The city and atrium houses in Hannover Kirchrode combine individuality and community in a homogeneous and yet varied overall structure. The individual types of houses vary in size and shape, thus creating a good brand recognition for its inhabitants, but a larger, collective identity is created through common materials and a continuous design.
The houses convince with a compact structure with private outdoor areas with high privacy and special lighting. The roof terraces and patios offered are next to each other and yet evade insights, whilst offering adequate sunlight. Thus, each resident gets own retreats which can be enjoyed with maximum daylight. The interior convince the city and atrium houses with skillful lighting. Light wells with stocked staircases, skylights and vertical strip windows draw the game after the sun and provide the residents with the changing seasons, a constantly changing lighting atmosphere.
