Landau + Kindelbacher were commissioned to provide the interior design of a villa in the exclusive Villa Eden Ensemble in Gardone by Lake Garda. The prominent position on the top of the mountain ridge provides a direct view of Lake Garda. The guiding principle of the interior design follows the architectural expression of pure architecture with an elegant, muted range of colours and materials in earthy shades – from soft beige to olive green, and cognac hues to strong, dark nuances. The focus is on the naturalness of the materials used and the quality of the workmanship. A welcome yellow dash of colour is a reference to the “limonaias” that are so typical on the steep slopes of Lake Garda. Since the end of the 19th Century, Gardone has been one of the most exclusive places on Lake Garda. The luxury resort “Villa Eden – Gardone”, designed by international star architects, consists of several villas, each of which is unique, plus a 6-star clubhouse with a high-quality restaurant. Its high-class furnishings and fittings and its incomparable setting beside Lake Garda, plus the most exclusive service, assure the attraction of the project. From everywhere on the site, one has a fantastic view of the lake. Both the architecture and the interior design have succeeded, with their individual designs for the luxury villas, in meeting the highest demands of the future owners.
