Integral planning of attractiveness, adaptability and energy efficiency - SSP AG is one of the largest integral planning offices in the Ruhr region with currently 200 employees in Bochum, Karlsruhe, Aachen and Berlin. In addition to traditional architectural and engineering services, the range of services includes urban planning/area development, project management, expert opinions, life-cycle consulting and building management. SSP takes an integral approach to the planning process. Flexible teams of architects, urban planners, building services engineers, experts and real estate economists therefore sit at the same table for every project, right from the start. This way of working not only saves time and costs: it paves the way for well thought-out and future-oriented planning in accordance with the SSP sustainability label GreytoGreen®.

Integral planning - On closer inspection, buildings are just as complex as the human organism. There is a protective skin, a supporting (bone) framework and finely tuned systems that only become an efficient whole through their optimal interaction. SSP sees its task as providing a structure with the right genetic make-up for its lifetime and use. SSP develops the task and its implementation in an interdisciplinary team. Aristotle's phrase "The whole is more than the sum of its parts" is very topical for SSP, as rapid growth in knowledge, regional and global changes as well as diverse requirements for emotionality, quality of use and energy efficiency can only be successfully implemented in well-coordinated teams. This is why SSP's architects, urban planners, building services engineers, experts and real estate economists accompany you from the very beginning in order to create an optimized and future-oriented whole.

Award-winning knowledge management - In 2009, the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology awarded the title of "Excellent Knowledge Organization" to the knowledge management system developed and practiced by SSP over many years. SSP was the only company from the "Construction / Architecture" sector to qualify. The prize was awarded for the first time to 25 companies from Germany and Switzerland. The SSP research project "Future-oriented building assessment" was funded by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and the European Union as part of the "Ruhr Area Innovation Prize". The application-oriented software developed here examines and evaluates the adaptability of buildings. It is based on the SSP concept of "Building DNA".

Cost-effectiveness - The simultaneous and cooperative solution finding by our architects, engineers, experts, project managers and real estate economists shortens the planning time and leads to an economic and future-oriented implementation of your project.
