Tropp Lighting Design plans for architecture - where light is not considered as an end in itself. This results in individual, project-based solutions for each construction. The scope of work includes architectural spaces of all kinds, from buildings, infrastructure projects or temporary constructions to outdoor and urban areas. Current projects include the central station project "Stuttgart 21", the new Swarovski administration building near Lake Zurich in Switzerland and the Manufactum department store in Cologne. Numerous projects to date clearly show how light can form an identity: office buildings such as the Lufthansa Aviation Center in Frankfurt and the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg, or such diverse lifestyle locations as the Health and Beauty Center in the Lanserhof in Innsbruck, the Manufactum department store in Frankfurt or the lounges and VIP lobbies of the O2 World in Berlin or Hamburg - all naturally with particular consideration of economic, technical and environmental factors.
Close cooperation with industry and with educational institutes guarantees the most contemporary planning practices. As a professor for lighting technology at the University of Applied Sciences in Mainz, Clemens Tropp is closely involved in educating young interior designers and works together with them on very innovative concepts.
As a construction office for natural and artificial lighting solutions, Tropp Lighting Design is both a creative and reliable partner for building contractors, architects and planners in all phases of every project. Each employee works hard to maintain this solid reputation every day.
