Oppenheim Architecture Basel office is seeking a talented and motivated Architect (5+ years) ideally with a background in international high-end residential and hospitality projects to join our vibrant international studio. We are actively engaged in projects in Switzerland, the Mediterranean and other sites across Europe.

Oppenheim is located at Basel's Creative Hub - the Dreispitzareal where you will join a unique team of around 45 people from over 23 nations and participate in fascinating projects around the globe. With our office in Miami and within our multicultural team, we exchange ideas in English. Position Overview
This role offers the opportunity to work on prestigious projects, collaborate with top-tiers clients and contribute to the creation of extraordinary architectural environments. As an Architect in our team, you will collaborate with experienced architects and designers on various projects, gaining invaluable hands-on experience and contributing to the design and execution of innovative architectural solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of design concepts and architectural solutions
• Produce detailed drawings, models, and presentations
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to design discussions and decision-making processes
• Conduct research and analysis to support design development, including site analysis, building codes, and sustainability considerations
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the project lifecycle
• Support the project team in preparing documents and specifications
• Stay current with industry trends, materials and technologies to bring fresh ideas and approaches to the studio

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
• At least 5 years of professional experience in an architectural firm
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in English-spoken and written
• Strong conceptual design skills
• Ability to develop design options in collaboration with the design team
• Ability to prepare, develop and edit drawings and models as they relate to the project(s)
• Strong ability with ArchiCAD, V-Ray, Rhino, Lumion, and Adobe Suite
• Strong organizational skills, able to work under pressure, meet deadline and budget time efficiently
• Ability to take initiative in response to direction from managers
• A flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working
• EU/EFTA passport / Swiss work permit
