European Architecture Photography Prize

Every two years since 1995 architekturbild e.v. holds a photography competition aimed at the artistic critique of the built environment. Winners of the 10th Europäischer Architekturfotografiepreis (European Architecture Photography Prize) for 2013 have been announced, with 1 first prize,2 runners-up, 3 highly recommended awards, and about 20 commendations. Listed below and pictured at left are the first prize and two runners-up.

The prizes will be given formally at an awards ceremony and exhibition opening on May 3 at the Deutsches Architektur Museum (DAM) in Frankfrut. The exhibition will run until June 16 before it travels to Brazil, Austria, and other cities in Germany.
