Making of 'Faro and Faro'

Per a statement on the artist's website, "Faro & Faro is the construction of the replica of one [of] the buildings of the Faro de Oriente (a cultural centre located in the suburb of Mexico City) inside the centrale nave of the Laboratorio de Arte Alameda." On display from 16 October 2014 to 4 January 2015, the work was the outcome of research the artist carried out between 2013 and 2014 for a residency with the Festival Mano a Mano, which, per the artist, "[portrays] the special relations existing between France and Mexico in the realm of photographic creation."
