The casino serves as an officers' housing, operated to this day. In addition to a fully equipped kitchen, a bar and other service areas, the building offers representative halls for events which are largely preserved in their original condition. The craft intricately manufactured rooms, like the Ballroom, the Lower Saxony room, the hunting room and the Schoeps-rooms on the first floor and the Queen room and bar on the ground floor, are for representative receptions and events under military or used by civilians from politics and society.

The external appearance of the three-storey, freestanding building is kept very simple and imbued with a simple geometry. Due to its original use, it was built also under high-quality. Since its implementation, the building hasn’t gotton comprehensive maintenance and a high demand for modernization was set. Between 2010 and 2011 it was fully modernized. Refurbishment of the representative interior, the area for the officers and the service areas. In particular the kitchen wing was newly designed and modernized in accordance with the hygiene regulations.
